Dr. Ahmad Qaddour received his M.D. degree from Damascus University. He completed his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Awards include “Top 10% in Medical School” and “Best Resident of the Year”. He is certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a member of The American College of Cardiology. Dr. Qaddour has published multiple research papers as well as providing cardiology lecture presentations. Dr. Qaddour joined Cypress Heart in 2014 bringing with him 10+ years of experience, an array of procedures and a friendly approach welcomed by patients.
Dr. Ashraf Jmeian, Interventional and General Cardiologist, will be seeing patients starting October 1st, 2021. He received his medical degree from the University of Jordan, completed residency at Seton Hall University and fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology from New York Medical College. Dr. Jmeian is specialized in treating advanced heart conditions, including diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease and varicose veins that may require medical or minimally invasive procedures. He is also specialized in complex high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention and is board certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Medicine Echocardiography.
Dr. Daniel Alvarez, is a graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. Alvarez is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He has memberships with multiple organizations including the American Osteopathic Association, American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. G. Whitney Reader was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of Rice University and his Tulane University School of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his post graduate residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and his Cardiology Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Reader is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is currently the Chief Medical Officer of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Reader performs cardiovascular interventions at Kansas Medical Center and Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Reader has been practicing medicine for 40 years. His private practice, G. Whitney Reader M.D., PA, includes both Interventional and General Cardiology. He accepts most healthcare plans and is currently welcoming new patients.
Dr. Lyle Zepick, M.D. attended the University of Calgary and completed his postgraduate work at the University of Ontario. He moved to Wichita in 1981 and has been in practice since. Dr. Zepick is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Family Practice (Canada), Nuclear Cardiology and is credentialed in Cardiac CT.
Dr. Sensarma is one of the leading Cardiologists in the state. He has been practicing Cardiology since 1981.
Since then his practice has grown to cover many parts of Kansas. Dr. Sensarma performed several thousand interventional and diagnostic cardiac cases. Dr. Sensarma is Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiology. Dr. Sensarma is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Joseph Lemlek graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Lemlek completed his training in Philadelphia, where he specialized in Interventional Cardiology. He moved his practice to Wichita in 2007. Dr. Lemlek is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
